Ageing and naturally sagging skin, breastfeeding or significant weight loss… These are the most frequent causes of sagging breasts. Do you add volume to your breasts with push-up bras or you prefer loose clothes in which they won’t attract attention? Modern plastic surgery offers a solution that will restore your lost self-confidence – lifting and modelling the breast through auto augmentation. This relatively new method is used rather rarely in the Czech Republic because it is demanding for the surgeon. At the Aesthevita clinic, we have an experienced specialist – MUDr. Ján Pilka.

WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE THE SURGERY
Firm breasts in a few hours
Perhaps you have given up hope for firm breasts. Open your eyes and start to think of it. Almost everything is possible with current plastic surgery. You would definitely not be the first one, breast modelling is one of the most frequent surgeries. 2 to 3 hours are enough for the surgeon to turn your breast into a talking point.
What outcome can I expect?
The first step to take is to arrange an appointment for the pre-surgery consultation. You will be taken care of directly by a plastic surgeon from the very first moment at the Aesthevita plastic surgery clinic. Discuss with him/her what outcome is possible in your case and he/she will describe to you the progress of the procedure and answer questions about anything you are curious about.
Right before the surgery
When the planned date of the procedure is approaching, you will undergo the pre-surgery examination. This involves blood sampling, an ECG and a sonographic examination of the breasts. The women aged over 60 undergo an x-ray of the lungs as well, the age limit for smokers is set at 50.
WHAT IS HAPPENING UNDER THE HANDS OF A SURGEON
What does the surgery consist of
During the surgery, you undergo breast modelling, the transfer of your own mammary gland tissue, the removal of the excess skin and lifting the sagging areola. The choice of a particular surgical technique depends on how saggy the breasts and the areolas are. If they are only slightly saggy and a minor modelling only takes place, the procedure is performed using a fine incision around the areola and the tissue is tied up into the middle of the breast. If the breasts are saggier, it is necessary to perform the incision vertically from the areola to the inframammary fold.
Firmer breasts and a minimum of scars
After the modelling of slightly saggy breasts, there will be almost no scars – very thin ones only. If the breasts are saggier, a more complicated procedure is a must. However, the scars after healing are still thin. The most modern surgical techniques are very gentle to the mammary gland, they preserve the areolas sensitivity as much as possible and minimise the size of post-surgery scars.
Overnight stay at the clinic
Expect to spend a night at the clinic after the breast modelling. The procedures which are performed under general anaesthesia require a short stay in hospital. Look at it from the positive side – after the surgery you will have proper rest and the doctor will check you before you are to be discharged.
THE WAYS IN WHICH I CAN SUPPORT RECOVERY
Respect days off
You should spend the week following the surgery in a leisurely way. You will be ready for full physical exertion in approximately one month. You can return to everyday office work sooner. Primarily follow the instructions given by the doctor who will assess you individually according to the current stage of healing.
Check-up after a week
You will go to your doctor for a check-up after one week. The sutures are absorbable so no one has to remove them at a later date. The most sensitive stage of healing is over but your body will need a few more weeks for full recovery. Be careful during the whole period.
Wire-free bra only
An elastic bra, which you receive at the clinic and is included in the cost of the procedure, will become your inseparable companion for the whole six weeks. It will provide the breasts with sufficient support and it will significantly help the proper healing process after the surgery. Take it off only occasionally and for a while, e. g. to take a shower. You can return to a usual underwired bra after six weeks.
Tip: Get a second compression bra so you can change them, e.g. when one needs washing. You can minimize the risk of infection only with maximum cleanliness. It is essential mainly in the first days after the surgery. You can even wash your bra every day.
HOW IT WILL CHANGE MY LIFE
Shine with your self-confidence
Breasts are one of the intimate parts of the female body. Although they may not be particularly exposed to everybody, women usually care about their appearance a lot. The shape and the appearance of the breasts, whether influenced by genes, maternity or ageing, often strongly influence a woman’s self-confidence. The modelling, filling and firming will give a woman a new boost for her self-confidence, which will then have a positive effect on various areas of her life.
